Description
1/11/23 – This is an original 2nd Model Luftwaffe dagger from WW2. The dagger is in excellent overall condition with a beautiful, shiny blade maker stamped by WKC. There is evident cross-graining throughout the blade, and the notable takeaways are some mild surface oxidation and scabbard rub wear. The eagle crossguard has typical surface patina but excellent detail throughout. The dark “burnt” orange bakelite handle has two small chips near the top where the grip meets the pommel, but is otherwise excellent. The scabbard has some mild surface patina but no dents or major issues.
