Description
5/4/22 – This is an excellent example of a Colt Official Police revolver manufactured in 1957. The gun is all matching, chambered in .38 Special, and has a rare factory 2 inch barrel. The legend on the barrel fits the length properly, and it has the correct short ejector rod. It has retained about 96-97% of its original high polish Colt bluing. There are areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the top strap, and on the high edges of the cylinder. Very light roll mark on the cylinder and very minor thinning on the grip straps. Minty bore. Comes with slightly-worn walnut grips. The cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth.
