9/1/22 – This is an excellent example of a “dot 44” Waffenwerke Brunn Kriegsmodell rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It has proper features for this variation, such as no bayonet lug, screw-fastened barrel bands, and “qnw” made floor plate and trigger assembly. However, the bolt is mismatched to the receiver. The stock was sanded and lightly refinished, so there are no visible markings. Comes with a nice reproduction leather sling. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with very little actual finish loss. There are just some areas of very light freckling along the barrel, some light spotty discoloration on the phosphate floor plate, and minor wear on the underside of the trigger guard. Minor spotty oxidation on the butt plate. The wood stock is excellent. Mint bore.
