Description
2/2/22 – This is a very nice example of a JP Sauer K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All numbered parts are matching, but the bolt is mismatched. The follower, trigger group, bolt release lever, and stock are not numbered. The stock does have faint but visible Nazi waffen proofs. There is some light scratchy wear around the muzzle and barrel bands. Areas of spotty discoloration on both sides of the barrel near the rear sight and on the floor plate/trigger group. On the butt plate, there is spotty oxidation and what looks like dried old tape adhesive. The stock is very nice with minor dings and scratches here and there. The bore is near-mint.
