12/29/22 – This is an interest Steyr K98 from 1942 that was part of a SS Depot build.It has the SSZZa4 proof on the right side of the barrel, with etched numbering on the sight components and bolt stop, as well as a lack of military acceptance proofs.The rifle does have some mismatched parts, namely the bolt, floorplate and follower.The finish on the rifle is original but worn throughout.The stock was sanded at some point, and has various dings and divots.The bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.
