Description
11/30/21 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1942. It is all matching, has the Mauser banner logo on the toggle, has the proper Nazi police “Eagle L” proof on the right side of the slide, and has an added police sear safety. Only about 4,700 guns of this variation were produced. This one also comes with a matching-numbered magazine. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the left side, concentrated around the muzzle, on the barrel, on the side plate, and on the left side of the frame. There is also very minor wear on the right side of the muzzle and front edge of the right side rail. Very minor freckling on both grip straps. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling and some very light freckling in the grooves.
