Description
6/19/23 – This is an excellent example of a Russian M91/30 Rifle. This example, like most M91/30’s today, was arsenal refinished and import stamped upon entry into the United States. However, the finish is clean and strong throughout the metal, and all numbered parts are matching with no signs of re-stamping. The receiver is 1942 dated and has a visible Soviet “hammer and sickle” logo. The wood stock has a few minor surface imperfections but no notable cracks or chips and a smooth, clean coat of varnish. There’s evidence of a small repair in the wood just before the magazine housing on the underside. The bore has strong rifling with minor patina and surface texturing throughout (7/10 overall). Comes with a canvas sling and metal cleaning rod.
