Description
5/26/22 – This is a nice example of a “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a rare K Date Luger holster (modified tool pouch) and two period-correct “Black Widow” magazines (there is a hairline crack in one of the magazine bottoms). The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original finish. Most of the wear comes in the form of minor thinning and light brown patina on the grip straps. There is also minor wear on the side plate, on the side rails, and around the muzzle. Some very light pin-pricking along the barrel. The gun comes with a set of excellent “Black Widow” black bakelite grips. The bore has strong rifling, but there is freckling throughout.
