4/12/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. The gun is all matching and has the proper stick wing “Eagle 63” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It has an “S/42” Mauser factory code on the toggle, much rarer than the “42” variation of this same year. This one also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is significant finish loss on the back strap and scratchy wear on the front strap. There is noticeable wear on the side plate and spotty / scratchy on the whole slide. Minor muzzle wear and an area of wear on the left side of the barrel. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore is near-mint.
