7/21/22 – This is an original WW1 production M1916 holster for a model 1911 pistol. The holster is in very good condition with soft, pliable leather. The leather has some dark coloring from aging and previous use, but the leather and stitching are all original and intact. The interior leather shows signs of previous use as well. The back leather is maker stamped and dated “BOYT 1917”. This is a faint stamp, but still visible. The front leather is “US” stamped. There are no other markings.
