8/16/21 – This is an excellent example of a Krag-Jorgensen Model 1912 issued to the Norwegian military in 1915. This one has the proper Norwegian proofs and Kongsberg “Crown K” on the receiver. The rear barrel band, rear sight, and trigger guard are mismatched. It has retained most of its finish, but there is thinning and light brown patina around the muzzle, on the barrel bands, and on the magazine. Some spotty wear and patina on the left side plate as well. Very nice stock with minor dings throughout and a small chip in the wood on the front half of the gun. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
