Serbian manufacturer Prvi Partizan loads this 30-06 ammo to the same M2 ball specifications the M1 was originally designed around. Its 150 grain full metal jacket bullet achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,745 fps without generating more chamber pressure than the M1’s parts were intended to handle. This target ammo is also compatible with modern 30-06 hunting rifles, so it’s a “one-size-fits-all” kind of arrangement.
If you sawed this round’s FMJ in half you would not discover any steel inside of it. In other words, it’s completely nonmagnetic.
