These rounds work well in .308 Win and 7.62 NATO bolt-action and semiautomatic rifles such as the AR-10, Remington 700, M-14, and others and are effective against boar, deer, elk, and many other types of North American game.
Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 180 grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,542 feet per second. Compared to other .308 loads, these rounds fire a heavy bullet at a slightly reduced velocity; while this configuration lessens the flatness of the trajectory, it also provides better stability and deeper penetration for more reliable effect on larger animals’ critical areas.
