Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very good condition WWII German Wehrmacht Heer (Army) EM/NCO’s Belt with Steel Buckle (Koppelschloß).The buckle is embossed with the Heer motto GOTT MIT UNS (“God with us”) surrounding a NSDAP Party Eagle. Nice field grey painted steel construction box buckle with a smooth background. The buckle is in good condition,with probably 90% of the original paint present, with the expected light wear and oxidation.
The belt bucklestill has the leather tab, which is stamped with the full maker information:
BRÜDER SCHNEIDER A.G.1940WIEN
The thick leather belt is in good condition,but has definitely seen wear and use, and has a partial split/tear about 10 inches from the clip. It measures about 37 inches overall. The belt has the original retaining tab for the buckle,which is in good shape. There is a 95 marked on the buckle end of the leather, which is probably for 95cm, or 37.4 inches. The belt is a bit stiff, and does have some cracking and deformation, in addition to the partial tear.
This piecehas loads of history, and would be a great addition to any German WWII collection!
