This .223 Remington varmint load from Hornady is part of the Superformance series, which uses improved powders to deliver better velocities and terminal performance without inflicting additional fouling or wear and tear on rifles.
Each round in this box of 20 fires an ultra-light 35 grain NTX polymer tipped hollow bullet at a high muzzle velocity of 4,000 feet per second. Designed to comply with regulations banning the use of lead-core bullets, the NTX is a copper-jacketed projectile with a core made of tungsten and other metals. It is designed to produce the same fragmentation as the lead-core V-MAX.
Hornady Superformance ammo is made in Grand Island, Nebraska using non-corrosive primers and brass cases.
