The SnapSafe 75406 Trunk Safe II is engineered for secure theftdeterrent storage in cars, trucks, under beds, RVs or even in the home. Its lowprofile height (around 7) allows placement under a vehicle seat, in a trunk or beneath a bed frame, while its width (about 42) provides ample space to store firearms, equipment, tools or documents. The body is constructed of 13gauge steel and the door of 6gauge steel with eight interior locking bolts, offering strong pry resistance. Access is controlled via an illuminated digital keypad (programmable 38 digits) with a keyed backup in case of electronic failure/troubles. Other features include a 3foot security cable for anchoring the unit to a fixed object, gasassist door hinges for smooth open/close, padded floor mat interior and predrilled boltdown holes for permanent install.
