This allows you to slide the cut ingredients into the pan without spilling them.
The cutting board is made from high quality plastic (TPR) that does not affect the sharpness of your knife! A glass or stone cutting board will of course dull your knife faster. The handle and the base of the cutting board are enhanced with non-slip rubber so that the cutting board does not move as you cut your ingredients or slips out of your hands as you lift it.
The cutting board can be washed in the dishwasher. However, the non-slip rubber may come off after a number of washes. It is possible to re-glue the rubber parts, but to prevent this from happening altogether, you can also just rinse the cutting board under the hot tap and clean it with a little water and soap.
