This ammunition from Federal delivers cost-effective target shooting for 1911s and other .45 ACP firearms. Packaged in a volume priced 500 round case with 10 loose packed boxes of 50 rounds, these cartridges fire a heavy 230 grain full metal jacket bullet at a subsonic muzzle velocity of 890 feet per second. This combination produces typical .45 Auto ballistics and good accuracy at pistol ranges.
Like most Federal commercial ammo, these cartridges are loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
