This gift set (which is also great for personal use!) is comprised of a beech wood cheese board and three small cheese knives. One knife perfect for softer cheeses, one to cut medium and harder cheeses, and a more solid knife to cut through hard cheeses. The first two knives are enhanced with a practical tip to pick up pieces of cheese. After use you can clean the knives in the dishwasher.
Beech wood
Some cutting boards can absorb stubborn bacteria or unpleasant odours. When producing this cutting board, however, Boska opted for European beech wood. As such this will never be an issue. Beech wood is a hard type of wood that hardly splits. In addition, beechwood itself has an antibacterial function.
Maintenance
It goes without saying that you properly need to clean the board by hand after use. Don’t forget to add a coat of oil to the board before the first use (and also occasionally after). It will extend the life of the board considerably.
