4/1/22 – This is a Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dagger by WKC. The dagger features an etched blade that’s engraved on both sides with naval motifs such as anchors, serpentine creatures, and floral patterns. One side of the ricasso is WKC maker stamped. The original red leather stopper is still visible. The blade has some mild oxidation and surface patina throughout but there are no signs of sharpening nor any major issues on the blade. The hand guard and pommel have both aged to show a darker burnt orange color, but are in great overall condition. The handle has no notable cracks or chips. Accompanying this piece is a desirable hammered style scabbard. The scabbard has some mild aging / surface wear but no dents.
