10/10/22 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger that was originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It was then reworked and issued to the German police, as evidence by the “1920” government property marking on the chamber, added police sear safety, and added police magazine safety. This one has retained roughly 85% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there are also areas of minor wear on the side plate, side rails, on the chamber, around the muzzle, and some spotty wear along the barrel. Comes with matching-numbered wood grips (tiny chip in the upper corner of the left panel) and a magazine with a replaced brass bottom. The rifling in the bore is good, but there is minor frosting throughout.
